Solid deal. This model has a very good balance between performance and thermals. The CPU has a max TDP of 45W-54W, unlike some gaming laptops which can push it to over 100W but in expense of heavier design and poor thermals. that power is still okay for good overall performance. Similarly, the GPU has around 80W-90W TGP which is close to the RTX 4060's max effective limit.

These numbers seem wrong. Also cpu doesn't use tgp, only the gpu. The combined tdp is 90w for both cpu and gpu. The YouTube reviews show how weak looking the thermal solution is so it definitely cannot do 90w for the gpu alone. I am guessing it maxes out at 60w. They also show how cheap and flimsy the overall case is. It's a very light laptop for 16", but that's because everything is paper thin plastic aside from the lid. It's also a screamer with the fans. Since the cooling solution looks so similar to the xps 15 which only has 40w tgp, it's likely turning up those fans to screamer level to achieve something like 60w. I would pass n this laptop unless it drops to $1000 or something. It has a really nice oled screen bolted to a very budget body. For not much more the vivobook pro 16x from the shippable microcenter deal is significantly better.

Based on what those number seems wrong? Asus Product page has this numbers mentioned. And that TGP vs TDP, was a typo.

Yes. It has one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C and one Thunderbolt 4 Type-C and both support Power Delivery.

This is a solid deal. The main drawback to this laptop is that it has 8GB RAM onboard and an 8 GB stick, so you can't get dual channel 16's.

The Vivobook Pro 16 also has Dolby Atmos Audio and a MUX switch that sends graphics frames direct to the GPU without passing through the CPU to reduce latency.

Very weak gpu cooling. It gets 8400 Time spy graphics score, when good 4060 usually gets 10500+. So this notebook is not for gaming((

Not true for DDR5 Rams. And DDR5 Ram does not get affected by much in asymetric Dual Channel configuration unlike the DDR4 memory, in apps and especially games. Jarrod's Tech has already done a video last year showing that. The reason being each of the DDR5 module has two channels and even a single module can work in Dual Channel mode.

When people see 13900h+ 4060 they usually think its good for gaming. My previous post was for those who don't know that this laptop is throttling strongly. But it is still good for those who need brilliant panel and don't need much gaming.

I bought this from Amazon but I am going to return it un-opened for a refund immediately. If you do a deep search for K6602, K6602VV, and K6604 across the web, on Amazon, and on reddit you will find these models are described as faulty with BSOD and major overheat issues, even just in casual use, or with video editing. Great machine in concept/ great screen, but apparently they have QC issues.

I have this but pretty sure it's an hx in it. It's a beautiful screen and it does over heat if you're doing anything like gaming or video processing. I was able to solve the overheating issue by lifting it up a little with this: Notebook feet/lift https://a.co/d/b6jxOEM
No longer overheats for me.

Also, one thing to note is the number pad. the zero is not in the normal spot and it bothers me soo much more than I thought it would. I got it for school and needed a laptop with a numpad and kind of wish I went with something else because of it.
