I'm bummed about DJI lately. Because of the FAA crackdown, it seems like they're geofencing everything like crazy. It makes it very difficult to fly quickly.

For reference, DJI sells the refurb version for $585 which allows you to purchase DJI Care Refresh. Not sure if BuyDig's version would qualify

As someone not really familiar with the drone scene but considering one, can you tell me what you mean? I know you can't fly them near places like airports and national parks but have they added more restrictions?

Apparently one more came back in stock - I just snagged it. Hopefully there are no issues. I've been wanting to invest in a drone so we can inspect our roof and gutters as they are very high up. Also serves as a good way to keep any roofing, painting, pest, contractors accountable that have to get up on the roof. We have Spanish clay tile and I'm sure contractors lie about tiles that were "already/previously broken" all the time. Flying a drone up there before anyone goes up there, to prove nothing was broken "previously" is something I've learned I need to do. Was borrowing my friend's Mini 2 every time I needed to do this but have been keeping my eyes open for a decent deal on one. Hopefully this fits the bill. Was hoping for a fly more bundle but I don't think I'll be using it extensively enough to really need extra batteries, at least for now.

Just got the drone today. Fired it up and ran a firmware update which seemed to have crapped out at some point so I ran it again and it supposedly completed. Went to the Go Fly menu and am getting ESC errors now... Frown has this happened to anyone else? Codes 16080027 and 16100019

I googled it and saw some notes about issues with the hardware and possibly that the drone was crashed before. When I initially looked checked the user settings a different user was logged in. My guess is someone else used this, probably crashed it (though I don't see any visual signs of damage) and then returned it?
