So I had to go through a replacement of the TV because Samsung's "White Glove Delivery" laid the tv on it's face when they were installing the mount and then picked it up by all four corners, causing the TV to have a bend at the top right and left corner. Otherwise the TV is great. If you do have it delivered or are installing it yourself, make sure you only pick up the TV from the bottom and sides - not the corners (see attached image). The image of the TV is gorgeous though and I recommend it personally.

Tempted by this as I look for an S90C, but I'll pass. This S94BC is identical to the S95B, which was unreliable and had progressive firmware downgrades. That TV was available 6 months ago for $1200.

The S90C originally had the S95B panel, but all recent iterations should have the S95C panel and I haven't heard much negative about the firmware. The S90C is brighter across the board.

Hmm, what's the story on this model? Is this a way for them to discount the S95B immediately without having to worry about price matching pre-super-bowl purchases? Excellent deal for a non-Samsung store offer.

It bends super easy if it doesn't affect the image from the front I wouldn't worry. It's just cause they made it too thin if you instruct them to be careful

I actually scooped an open box good for 740 (bargained a little bit) and bought the 5 year warranty for a total of like 895 before tax. It looks good to me and it came with everything. Awesome looking tv. And it is a lil bendy like above poster said since so thin

Assume so - one redditor says the BD model has lower wattage speakers but can't verify that. Otherwise it sounds the exact same.

I have the s95b. It's kind of a toss up. This one does not use a white subpixel so you will get better colors. The lg supports Dolby vision that gets way more support than hdr10+. Either way great t.v.'s.

It depends what matrix you use and usage.
Even with rtings, all those rating numbers are very close.
As someone pointed out, both are very good.

Honestly speaking, to be able to get a high end 65" OLED (a QD-OLED no less) at these prices (especially at sub $1000 for an open box! Holy crap) I'd say buy now, get the 5 year Best Buy Warranty that covers burn in, and think later. You won't regret it. Heck I'd prefer LG, Sony, or Panasonic but at these prices I'd take a Samsung!

Got this TV over the weekend. Looks great. It does have an issue where over time it can bend at the top due to how thin the TV is. Samsung has fixed this in the S90C by making it thicker.

Well worth it at this price though. I'm sure it'll be fine for 3-4 years at least and by then 8K OLEDs will prob be more reasonably priced.

I was in the electronic business and one of the Golden Rules was to never lay a tv on its front or back !!
BUT nowadays even upper people in the business do it.
eg..... Caleb Denison senior editor at Digital Trends
It makes me cringe every time he does it even with 85 inch TVs [youtu.be]

PS: So-Called "White Glove Delivery" is usually two delivery dudes with very little electronic experience.
