thanks for contributing....nothing... for everyday remote workers this does just fine...
I have 4 of these monitors. Looks like $200 is the regular price for these "open box" items.

Of the 4, 1 of them had never been opened, and all 4 were in like-new condition. eBay feedback to this seller also indicated that any issues were dealt with via a replacement monitor (dead pixles/etc).

All 4 of mine were perfect.

Seller ships amazingly quickly...promised date was a week for delivery and 3 of the 4 arrived the day after I ordered them.

My wife and I use these for productivity purposes (not gaming, so I can't speak to that). They're fantastic. super sharp, compatible with Mac and windows. They're also super light-weight unlike some ultra-wides, so no worries putting them on a stand (I have my two up high above my existing 49" monitor).

The speakers are as you would expect for monitor speakers...usefull if you have nothing else, but sound quality is mediocre at best.

The only complaint I would have with these is that they only have one DisplayPort connector. (plus 2 HDMI's). Unfortunately, thanks to Apple's process, I can't get full resolution from my Macs via HDMI to these monitors--only using DisplayPort. Not a big deal if I use the split-screen function and use it as 2 monitors, but one full screen requires DisplayPort from a Mac.
This is probably not a big deal for most as you can always swap cables as needed, or you likely only have 1 computer you're connecting.

A cheap USB-c to DisplayPort adapter is all Im using to connect my Macs.

This monitor is certainly worth the 300 they sell it for at Costco....

$200 from an amazing eBay seller (who includes a 1 year warranty I believe) is definitely a slick-deal.

Also, regarding the curve. It's slight but noticeable. Definitely nicer than. a flat screen. This is not obscenely curved like a 1500r or 1000r gaming monitor. Just slightly and it does more for a more comfortable viewing when working with wide documents/excels/etc (as another poster indicated)
There is a similiar 34 inch lg ultrawide qhd monitor available new for $250. Currently listed on slickdeals.

Also Costco seems to have this exact monitor on sale for $300 quite often.

Both are new with regular manufacturer warranty and probably additional warranty from Costco as well.

Other than the obligatory opinions on VA vs. IPS - does anyone have experience with this model? Seems like a decent low cost deal and I have an empty desk to populate with gear Smilie

How is your experience with a curved monitor for productivity? Most deals seem to be for curved, I have it in my mind that flat would be better, no real reason for that thought

If you're doing a lot of Excel work, curved ultrawide can be a god-send. It's way more comfortable when you have a lot of excel columns and tabs to work with.

I have this monitor for coding at work. I really enjoy the curve seeing as how close the screen is, but the brightness is really lacking. It was either buy this or continue using three 1080p Dell monitors provided by work. As long as you don't have it facing a window, like I do, the brightness isn't so much an issue.

Agreed! Recently got an ultrawide for my home setup and it helps a ton when working with excel sheets.

I got the Costco version that the reply above mentions. It's worth it. I haven't had any issues. That extra 1" makes a difference also. I also want to add that the Costco version is 279. It's in my stores now. If you can afford it, grab from Costco, for the simple returns just in case anything happens.

unless it is super dirt cheap otherwise I won't buy VA panel, or soon it becomes e-waste

I've installed 30 of these same exact LG ultrawides at my work. They may not be amazing with color reproduction, but are amazing for multitasking. Zero issues so far, some displays have been on for thousands of hours. Not one has died on me. Soon to be e-waste is a bit of a stretch.

I prefer IPS panel over VA panel

I have two LG 27", they kinda suck, I had an LG LCD tv, it died after the warranty period was over. No thanks to LG. My LG washer and Dryer sucks but I don't want to fork over $1000 dollars for another set.

I have been using two of these for about 10 hours a day for over two years now. No problem whatsoever. I can't vouch for the seller because I got mine from Costco, but the product has been holding up pretty good. If it matters, I use it for coding, emails, Slack, Zoom, SaaS web app usage etc. Basic stuff. I can't comment about 4K and high end gaming though.
