It came out of the box and worked for about a day. Then started black screening. I plugged my old rx570 into my pc and haven't had a crash again. PC shops have started receiving a ton of dead 6800's from XFX. They did some research and 6800's are being used to crypto mine a ton. XFX is using them until the brink of death, then selling them. One shop received 63 6800's in their shop, 48 were dead, the rest were having crashes happening. It's not a coincidence that manufacturers like Asus and that color brand are low on 6800s and XFX is not. The GPU shortage began with crypto miners. The card was a beast when it worked. But I've since upgraded to a refurbished 6800xt from Asus and it works even better... with no crashes. Don't buy from xfx. There's a reason they're not short on 6800s and there's a reason they're 100 dollars cheaper than the others.

The XFX RX6800 should not have passed quality control. The card was loudly clicking, every second. it would stop once playing a game for 30 minutes.
After a while my game crashed with color fragments all over the screen. the card is now nonfunctional.
This card should have never left the factory. I feel like this company put the quality control on my shoulders. I will never buy an XFX product again.
Should you, for whatever reasons, decide to buy this card, I recommend you to stress test this thing and have it run a game just overnight or 24h, and see if you have a "good" card, but my feeling is, that cheap components and shortcuts in manufacturing quality meet their match here.

got vertical artifacting about 2 months in and they would not offer any support even tho it says 90days they claimed the window ended after 30. DO NOT BUY! XFX will not respond to email or anything as of posting this anh the help number always says sorry me are closed call back between 9am and 5pm
My son and I both have this card and have had no problems with either. I was really expecting a lower price by now though as it was $380 before Christmas. Haven't seen any really good deals since then, honestly. (Doesn't mean there haven't been any, I just haven't seen anything pop up.)
I bought this same card before Christmas when it was 379.00 at Best Buy. I also had a $25.00 off of 250.00 coupon. The card has been great for me so far.

Recommending a bad option B because you think option A is bad is not at all a better alternative. This isn't rocket science.
If I'm spending $400 on a graphics card, I want at least a one year warranty. Unless it's something insane like getting a working GeForce RTX 4080 for $400, then you could roll the dice.
The SWFT319 has avg 4.2 on Amazon, which is somewhere around "good." It's not great, and it's not terrible. I did glance at the recent critical reviews and there might be a QC issue. Amazon sold at least 1,000 units of this card since last fall. A few bad ones isn't necessarily unusual.
Out of those 4 reviews posted above, 3 are kinda dumb. The first talks about crypto mining, which is irrelevant unless you're buying a used card. 2 others complained that you can't get a refund 2 months later, but that's normal. You have to deal with the manufacturer warranty; unless you have extended holiday returns, Amazon isn't giving you your money back.

Because this is last gen, presumably AMD isn't ordering any more Navi 21/22 chips from TSMC so these cards are either leftover inventory OR are being assembled from existing components. There have been very few deals on the Radeon RX 6000 series since around Black Friday.

Terrible recommendation for the money.

Terrible recommendation for the money.
It's not a recommendation, just a likely better alternative.
Try helping out in a similar manner before calling it a terrible recommendation.
