OK price for a full job site setup. The mitre saw is great, easy adjustment mine was pretty square out of the box. This stand is a bit better than their bigger stand because it takes up way less room and is easier to get in and out of the truck. The table saw is a bit of a stinker if you're looking for real precision. The fence system isn't the best and the adjustment is a pain. The adjustment for the blade alignment kinda sucks and only has like 1/32"-1/16" of swing so if it's way out you need to adjust the table. The stand is also cumbersome.
Ridgid 18v 7 1/4 miter is 199 at Home Depot but they don't advertise it, you have to ask an employee to look it up on their scanner

Fudge. If that miter saw was 18v, I'd be all over this deal. I have a Dewalt 779 work horse but it's bulky AF

I wouldn't use that saw with that stand. Get the bigger one.

Also the rigid table saw IMO is junk.

I was not happy with the table saw and returned it for the budget Skil. Have been quite happy with it.

FWIW Ridgid has another miter saw stand with wheels that is a lot better for DIY'ers IMO. I've used it for some fence rebuilds and can wheel it out to the work spot for convenience.

Why does everyone hate the table saw so much? I have had it for a few years and it's been great for me

I bought the miter saw a couple of years ago. Ended up returning it and getting DeWalt due to the blade wobble issues on the Ridgid saw. Otherwise I really liked it. Some people say if you try 3 or 4 you'll eventually get one without wobble. It's possible they've fixed that issue in the last couple of years, though

Is this "hackable"? Wondering if it's worth buying and returning the table saw

biggest problem for me was the fence.

compared to a rack/pinion style it's garbage.

Compared to what? It's fine compared to other small jobsite saws in this price range.

Why? Please elaborate. Compared to other jobsite saws I've used it's about the same.
