The lid is the hardest to clean of any coffee travel mug I've ever had.
These are great at first but inevitably start leaking, thanks to an over designed lid.
I'd like to see a 2 pk for $10....

I picked up a couple sets for $9.97 per set today. Agree about how the lid looks hard to clean. Daughter wanted a stainless steel travel mug though. I will give them a try.

I bought these last time they were on deal at Costco. They're decent for the price, but yes, the lid assembly is a bit of a hassle. A metal insert on the bottom of the lid needs to be removed and then there are several silicone gaskets that need to be popped off if you want to give it a good deep clean. Not difficult, but the small parts can get lost in a tub of sudsy water as you clean them.

I have one of the mugs in white, and while the exterior parts still look good, the interior of the lid is now thoroughly stained with coffee.

I needed some new travel coffee mugs on short order, and for the price and decent quality these fit the bill for me at that time. Keep your expectations low and they're not a terrible deal for what you'll pay.

It'll get there once this will get to disco phase, perhaps, even much lower than $10.

So is the lid dishwasher safe? I don't understand. Why not just throw it on the top rack - no need to take apart to clean.

These do a good job keeping coffee warm. However, I made the mistake of thinking the lid was somewhat leak proof and put it in my backpack. It tipped over and the entire contents leaked into my backpack.

The lid is over engineered. It has a silicone gasket and a plastic gasket holder that threads onto the lid. Both these have to be absolutely taken apart each time to clean the lid. The cup does a very good job of keeping the drinks warm and also restricting the flow of hot liquids so you don't burn your mouth. But it requires work to take apart and put together again. I don't know how long it will last if used on a daily basis.

I've had this set for about 3 months (they were on sale for $14 when Costco first got them in stock).
I haven't had any issues with them.
I had a Yeti one that was a similar size, lost it and these have been a nice less expensive alternative.

I was coming on here to post the same thing. Someone gave us one as a gift and it's such a pain to clean. There are better cups that are insulated that allow for simple cleaning. If you've heard all the moldy lids from Stanley cups this will be even worse as it has a lot more nooks and crannies for mold to grow.

Thermos brand is one of the worst for lids as they have too many parts to be cleaned.

Also that little lid attachment underneath falls off and makes it difficult to close the lid.

Well just my two cents. Good luck if it works out for you.
