I had a conversation with a nanamica store manager in 2021 because a goretex North face purple label cap i got in 2020 was updated with louder goretex branding and he told me that goretex updated their guidelines to require that the goretex branding on a product has to be at least as prominent (size and contrast) as the product's brand name and this has tracked with what I've seen from North face and nike (for these you can see the goretex is the same size and font/background color as the tongue).
Imo the pictured colorway is the worst of them all and the purple haze ones that are also on sale are worth the extra couple dollars in aesthetics alone.
I have the lavender ones from when these first released, they are comfortable and are great on rainy days. I wish they made these with the aj1 golf soles to improve the traction as these are kinda terrible on snow days.

I don't have wide feet and they are extremely snug even with thin socks (I don't even lace them and they fit as if they were laced /tied). So, definitely go up half to 1.
