Fantastic mouse. I paid $5 less on Black Friday for it but this is still a good deal for sure.

Thanks for heads up! Looks like Target [target.com] also has it for the same price as well

Razer build quality is suspect and only 1 year warranty. my scroll wheel on the ultimate basilisk would skip and made it essentially useless for anything. this wasn't a limited issue and Razer wouldn't budge. at least with Logitech you get 2 years.

I'll add hat I liked the mouse a lot, but the scroll wheel and lack of support really ruined my experience with them.

I've had a few razer mice and none have been that great. The wireless ones I have had have pretty bad battery life and was only used for about an hour or two a day

I have the wireless version of this mouse, it's really nice. One thing I'd note though is that it has a rubberized soft-touch grip on both sides that is an absolute grease magnet. I've never had that issue with any other mouse, I generally wash my hands before using my computer and don't eat at my desk, but within a month this one started developing a mark where my thumb sits. You can clean it with some alcohol and effort but if you're someone like me with oily skin it's something to keep in mind.

Anybody know a good place to still get new Deathadder V2's? Ebay seems to be the only place. Need to stock up when they hit $25 or so.

The scroll wheel on my previous Basilisk v2 and Deathadder before that also wound up failing to some degree, it's really unfortunate. On my current mouse (a Basilisk v3) the scroll wheel still works after a year or two, but that's partly because of the toggleable infinite scroll (which is a great feature for what it's worth), and it is becoming less tactile.

That said, I love this mouse otherwise and would still highly recommend it for $45. Very comfortable, nice materials, buttons feel great, lighting is cool; overall it's honestly the perfect mouse for me.

I love this mouse, bought it new at around $60 about three years ago. Razer actually has a 2 year warranty on their mice not 1 year as someone stated above. I will say the mouse wheel breaks after about a year and a half. I got a replacement one from razer for free after contacting them and showing them a video of the scroll wheel issue (something inside the infinite scroll seems to come loose/out of position which prevents it from free-scrolling as fast and makes a noise). Unfortunately, even the replacement mouse eventually had the same issue after another year or so. Now I'm out of warranty so I opened it up and am going to try and replace the scroll wheel myself buying it elsewhere. I wish it didn't have this issue, but this is still Razer's best mouse for productivity mixed with gaming thanks to the infinite scroll so I always come back to this mouse.

Also, there's a mild refresh for this mouse that upgrades the sensor from 26K DPI to 35K DPI and has a newer generation of switches. I don't think it's worth double the price for just that though, but that might explain why the price has dropped for this one.
