from what I understand, only 95% of the ingredients need to be organic for USDA organic, and I'm pretty sure the water in soup counts

There's five more flavors on this page

https://www.amazon.com/Pacific-Fo...91-7946057

I've never had these before, so I'll give them all a try.

You can re-use the coupon, but only check out one at a time, which is annoying.

The fire roasted chili is really good. Haven't tried the others.

Perfect to eat quick with a grilled cheese sandwich. Especially when you're not feeling good.

Not a slick deal. It is cheaper to buy the container of salt a la carte.

Some of these could be great if not for the insanely high salt levels...

You can look at the ingredients and see that almost everything is organic. In the one I looked at, only the water, citric acid, and salt are not marked as organic....

I have canned food with low sodium that will last for years, so there has to be another reason. Is it because of poor cleanliness (contamination) that so many food items contain gobs of sodium? It's the only thing I can think of. If that's true, it's another good reason to stay away from products that use too much sodium.

Comments are right. I love split pea soup but one can has more sodium than a large fries from McDonald. Actually more than 2 large fries

People like the taste.

Same reason restaurant food is often high salt / fat.

Not an issue for most people, but folks with high blood pressure or other medical concerns should of course be checking labels.
