These used to be good , they're now just Chinese generic garbage with an old brand name . Quality isn't there , not worth the frustration. Use a different brand

As far as I know, x-acto has gone to China since 2014. If it is garbage, then why this one is the #1 best seller in handsaw and the price went back to 14 now? And you can also find 'Customer usually keep this item' on the webpage. Don't tell me just the price. I would personally pay more to get quality item than low price trash.
