Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

You can get a refurbished 13700H version through Acer's eBay store for about $550 after 9% discount. That one also comes with a 2-year Allstate warranty. Hopefully the eBay store offers the 13th-gen i5 U version for around $500 eventually. My college kid has the 12th-gen i5 U version that I bought last year for around $430, and it's fantastically thin and light.

Why these Swifts so expensive??
13th gen i7, 16GB RAM, 14" 1200p screen, under 2/3" thick, and under 3lbs

How much do you think you should pay for that?

So tempting to replace my kid's Latitude 7310, but just worried if the Iris Xe is gonna run hot and loud playing Roblox (like our ASUS Zenbook).

Not bad. Of course, the kid cannot explain the rather large gouge on the lid. Fortunately, it did not affect the screen. She also appreciates the weight compared to the 3.5lb behemoth 14" Chromebook she had in high school.

Keep us informed, I'm planning to pull the trigger as well. But unsure on how good a 'acceptable' device would be.

Yes. Aluminum.

The OLED version with Intel ARC graphics is $850, so not sure this is much of a deal.
