Has BritBox fixed their buffering issues for north america customers? I havent tried them since the covid lockdowns and they were constantly having buffering issues in the afternoons/evenings. There was a rumor that they were going to mirror their service in the U.S., but when they lost a bunch of money in 2021, that idea sort of faded away.
Acorn was pretty good, but once the lockdowns started winding down and my binge watching habits slowed down, I canceled them. No fault to Acorn.

No. Still stuck in buffering last time I tried to watch something. I really enjoyed them the first year, but I'm refusing to pay these higher streaming costs.

We've been watching regularly for past year with no buffering issues. Their app on the Apple TV has improved as well.
I guess no 40% off annual subscription coming this March - this may be best deal we get this year and the monthly price is going up to $9.99 in March? How about the price on the annual?
I guess it is still worth $10 a month - compared to all the junk US streaming services that charge a lot more including HBO and Netflix. This Acorn, PBS and AMC+ and Disney on sale is all you may need.

we have both britbox and acorn. the only buffering problems we had were because of the pos internet service we tried for a short time, then went to a REAL service. some really great stuff on both.
