Decent deal but Costco members may want to wait for another sale. Just about the same price, except Costco has a 5 year warranty versus one year here.

We've had ours(2022 55") for almost 2 years now. Paid $960 w/additional bezel. It's fooled quite a few people into thinking that it's a picture frame. As far as TV's go, it's pretty mediocre. But I expected that. By far the worst part is the Samsung operating system - Tizen OS. I think now it's finally at the point where it's stable, somewhat quick and doesn't hang up all the time. But man was it not like that before. The remote itself has solar on the back so I rarely ever have to charge it via the USB C interface.

Are you talking about the LG G series? If so it's not really a knock off of this. It share a similar low profile form factor but it's not a matte screen and being OLED picture quality should be way better and also more expensive.

My 2020 OS runs perfect to this day. My 2023 is almost unusable with the lag times.

We have the 2019 version and the 2022 version. The latter has horrible speakers due to form factor. The audio sucks. Need a soundbar which ruins the illusion. Which is a shame bc the matte coating and adjusted brightness based on room conditions is amazing.

The 2019 model sounds better but you can tell the panel isn't as good as the 2022 and it's much thicker. We can't find bezels for the 2019 anymore either. So if you're on the fence about that get them while you can.

I don't. It was hanging on the wall at the Westin in Reston

Idk how one will confuse G3 / G series for this kinda tv. G series is supposed to be LG's premium oled tvs, over a, b, c
Maybe some other series

If your primary concern is having a TV that doesn't look like a TV when not on, this is it. If you care about picture quality, then this is not a good option. At this price point pretty much anything else will be better PQ wise. You are paying for the novelty of the look.

they're pricey, but FYI there's at least one company (and I'd bet several others) that make 'aftermarket' frames incl for the '2019' model.

Can anyone confirm if you can set this to portrait via service menu (without use of a PC)? The original Apple TV has a movie poster screensaver that I would like to have showing in portrait mode for my media room.

You can do it as long as you upload 9:16 art in the SmartThings app. They also make an auto rotating wall mount so you can rotate it back when you want to watch normal content or display 16:9 art.

I have 4 of these for my cafe as menu display. The tv have a sensor and auto sets to portrait mode if you turn it side way.
