If you want a unique rose of very high quality, Heirloom Roses is the place to go. They specialize in what is called "own-root" plants meaning they don't sell grafted roses. The benefit to own-root roses is they are stronger and much more resilient. Some of their roots date back to the 1800s.
They have a great YouTube channel if you want to learn more and will walk you through everything from planting to pruning. Great people. I'm not affiliated with them...just a fan.
