Haven't seen any decent prebuilts with a 4070ti at this price.

Its a bit higher, the cases and cooler are nicer than bottom barrel pcpartpicker pricing, but yea its basically not worth it to self build at this level.

Do they? 1TB drives don't seem to make sense to even make at this point. Its almost like they have to run out a deal on buying the things.

They get rid of old inventory and their cost for the drive could be about $10-15.

The i7 Legion desktop I bought 4 years ago has been the buggiest pile of crap I've ever bought. Has made me regret rolling the dice on a pre-built every day since.

You can do this on every prebuilt listing, not everyone wants to build.https://www.newegg.com/abs-fa1440...6883360471 has a 4070 super instead of the base 4070 but the cpu falls a good bit behind, not sure if all lenovo's prebuilts are fully standard but iirc of recent they are.
The computer you linked to has great specs, only downside is the i5 but it's a new i5 and still very fast. Considering buying. I'm also eyeing this one at Costco. They just added it to their inventory a couple days ago.

I've heard this from other owners also. About the same time I bought a unit from ibuypower and have had zero problems over those 4 years.
I liked it so much 2 years later I bought one more with the newest parts and it also was flawless.

Lenovo had this on sale just before Christmas with a 7700 instead of 7700x for 1200. Still seems like a good deal for the parts.

It's DDR5 so it's not the worst thing in the world. Easy to upgrade if you ever need it but I've been getting along with heavy usage with 16gb DDR5 for the past six months. Would imagine as time progresses I'll need to upgrade but it's the least labor intensive upgrade I can imagine.

That's the far better deal. The 14700k is a LOT faster than the 7700x in multithread, like +70%. The 4070 super in that is also roughly +15% faster. 32GB of RAM vs 16GB in OP, 2TB SSD vs 512GB in OP, 850w PSU vs 500w in OP, liquid cooler vs air in OP, 2 year warranty vs 1 year in OP, etc

It's $200 (+14%) more but you are getting a lot more for you money. I would recommend the costco deal.

How's the 2 year warranty work here? It extends the manufacturer warranty typically but CyberPowerPC's standard warranty requires the customer to pay for shipping both ways on any repairs. Would it be the same when buying it from Costco?

I paid $1,200 for 4070ti and 800w PSU last year around Prime Day I believe with cashback extension and Amex offer.

I paid less than this for a 4070ti version with 800w PSU and 1TB NVME last July by using a cashback extension and Amex offer. Bought directly from Lenovo website.
Plus I got $100 rewards points from Lenovo after which i spent on getting some accessories.
