Bath and Body works foaming hand soaps set the gold standard. If you believe this to be true, then the "good price" point for them is $2.95/ea. That would be 3/$8.85. This is a grocery store brand. It would never sell for the inflated msrp, and is a meh deal at this price.

I bought several Bath and Body works foaming soaps when they were on sale. Their scents are way too strong. I couldn't stand them and 2 of my guests said that they couldn't get the smell off their hands for awhile making them feel a little sick. Same for me. I can't even give them away. Method brand, on the other hand, has very mild scents that doesn't overwhelm, imo.

I can respect that. We are on the opposite end - been buying the Bath and Body Works soaps for years, and we and our guests prefer them.

All preference aside, these are run-of-the-mill soaps sold by Amazon, Walmart and target with a regular price of ~$2.99. The Amazon inflated MSRP is laughable. If someone were in the market for this flavor right now, it's $1 or $2 savings over regular retail.

Yeah, you're right...some people like stronger scents. I never could take them and they sometimes give me a headache....just me I guess. Everyone has their own preferences. I like the scents from Bath and Body Works but for me they just linger way too long on my skin. Smilie

I prefer stronger scents because I have almost no sense of smell. I'm lucky if I can barely smell the scent of my hand soap for even a moment, as I use it. I notice that I have an easier time smelling citrus mint and eucalyptus scents. Perhaps, they tend to be stronger than other scents.

So, I purchase based on scent (both if I like it and if I can even smell it at all) and if the particular soap dries out my skin.
