Personally I love the "one-click" mechanism for easy interchangeability and that alone makes it worth the premium that you pay for going OEM. Also, the sport and hybrid bands do a much better job of providing that no-gap look than basically any of the random off brand bands I've tried on many different watches over the years. Picked up the fabric since I already have a sport and hybrid leather band, for 17 bucks shipped it's a solid deal imo.
Appreciate OP's efforts here...$12 probably a decent deal for a Samsung OEM-branded cloth band, but I've bought on Amazon at least six cheap knock-offs for my GW5 that look/feel exactly like this, for half (or better) price than this. That said, if you must have OEM, you probably won't do better than this price.

Fabric bands are my favorite but just not practical with regard to cleaning when out in the world and all the various germs.
Easy to clean my watch and band with silicone sports bands.

For the sports bands, the knockoffs have tended to give me a rash. I have never had this issue with OEM bands.

Agree. The one-click mechanism is 100% worth it. I bought a set of inexpensive bands and two things came to mind. One-click was a must, and depending on which brand you got, if the the attachment area was too rigid, it just flared out. Which made those areas incredibly awkward looking and feeling.
Does this fabric quickly soak up with sweat and stink?
That's exactly my question.
Come summer in North Texas plus gym my hands will be very, very sweaty and if this absorbs sweat and stinks after dry then it's not for me.

Very interesting. Some of the knock-offs silicon bands have made me rash up, but not the cloth ones. Also, for those asking...the cloth bands do absorb sweat well and of the handful I own (am wearing one now, in fact), they have never smelled badly. I also wash them out about once a month, which may be why.
I picked this band when I bought my Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 47mm. To me it looks very weird on the watch because the width of the band is 20mm. It just looks way too thin. With one of the generic bands I bought off Amazon the band is more like 22mm in width with an adaptor to fit the 20mm lugs.

I just went through a round of shopping and testing several watch bands for my 47mm 6 classic. I didn't find that the Samsung branded bands had much to offer unless you REALLY want the velcro or REALLY like their quick release button. I also didn't like the no gap because it forced the watch profile to be wider than my wrist.
I bought a 5 pack of fabric bands for $12 and they have been great so far. I am also very impressed with a genuine leather band that is much more comfortable than the hybrid leather bands I got from samsung.

Fabric: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09MCWW7GT
No gap fabric: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B17HLRGM
Leather: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CXNL4D8
Again this is just what I PREFERRED. Nothing wrong with the samsung branded stuff if that's your preference.
I'm actually gonna get rid of (ebay) the D-latch hybrid leather band that I got with the watch

Edit: Realized it's already mentioned in the post. Nevermind.
