  • The Samson Meteor Mic USB Microphone features a large 1" studio capsule with smooth 20Hz-20kHz frequency response. It captures every sonic nuance and delivers up to 16bit/48kHz resolution.
  • The cardioid polar pattern picks up audio directly in front of the mic capsule. It isolates noise from the sides and rear to deliver clearer audio.
  • The 3.5mm stereo output lets you directly monitor your recording with headphones or studio monitors. Meteor Mic also offers an adjustable control knob for the headphone volume levels.
  • You can use the Meteor Mic straight to a PC. It is compatible with DAWs, VoIP software (e.g., Skype, iChat), Windows 7/Vista/XP, Mac OS X, and higher OS. NOTE: You may need to update its firmware for newer OS.

Been using the Samson Meteor for the last 7 years or so, it has been rock solid. It's 90-95% as good as the Logitech Blue mics that cost 3-4 times as much.

Been using this for years. You'll want a plosive screen and maybe an EQ to boost it a few decibels as well as an arm mount. Voice quality degrades rapidly as your mouth angles away from the mic.

Otherwise it's amazing quality for the money. Looks good too.
