Just a heads up, these are designed to be added to 8 ounces of water where a lot of the other electrolyte powders (including Liquid IV) are meant for 16 ounces. It also seems like the Sodium/Potassium contents are roughly half, so although I haven't done the math, Liquid IV on sale, at Costco for example, is probably a pretty comparable if not a better deal. I have had these and I like them but I do prefer Liquid IV. And yes I know the homesteaders make their own with lemon juice and salt (which I do frequently as well), but move on if you're a sugar Nazi; this ain't a Clif Bar posting 😉
Good price for at-hand and convenient electrolyte replacement
In carry these in my first aid kit when traveling
And this def beats having to store and waste those 1-2L containers at home

Sweet - had an extra 25% off for total of $4.19+tax

Agreed with above….stop wasting plastic. Great for traveling, and really great for after a long night out.

This are awesome, highly recommend them. The best part is that they are covered by FSA!

Quote from firebirdude :
I was released from the hospital at 11pm last night after 3 days of stomach issues. The whole nine nards. Couldn't eat or drink. I was given Pedialyte.

It was so stinking sweet that it was grossing me out. Now, I fully realize a truly dehydrated person needs salt and sugar. But this was over the top.

One of these tiny packets has 6 grams of added sugar. The large bottle of Pedialyte currently in my fridge has 7 added grams per serving.
Added sugar isn't usually ideal, especially for kids, but sick kids need energy. Sugar provides energy.

The 3 "key electrolytes" are basically table salt (sodium chloride) and potassium. You can make your own healthy, no-sugar version by adding salt and potassium (citrate, eg.) to water.
