This would just be a closed circuit security system running on solar?
Yes the data is cosmically transmitted, no WiFi necessary it's a miracle of science!
You don't need WiFi if you just want to record events, since memory card is on the camera,
You need WiFi if you want to receive alert or view clip remotely.

Q: Does this camera support third-party software/system/NVR, such as RTSP and Synology?
A: This camera is fully compatible only with Reolink App/Client. It DOES NOT support FTP, NVR, RTSP or 3rd party software like QNAP/ Synology/ONVIF.
What app do you use to view it? If storing on SD, you can still view it remotely too, correct? And can you view both in real time or view the recordings remotely?
