Found this deal in store. Looks like nationwide deal. Just happened to be in the market for a replacement and don't want to deal with a self built.

In similar situation as OP. Running a few self-built desktops at home with Win 7 and don't have time or energy to build a new desktop. Some of the reviews on Costco are pretty bad, graphics issues, no dual monitor support, boot/sleep issues. Wondering if this is worth trying out for 90 days.

I have this desktop with a slightly different config, purchased a year ago and it is a solid machine. There has been a few firmware updates. I imagine the average costco buyer has NFI about computers, so I would take any complaints with a grain of salt.
They are probably better off with a Chromebook or a Mac.

In for the cd burner. Just kidding.

I am interested in this, to upgrade my wife's home office PC. Right now she has an 8400 we got off eBay for like $250 a couple years ago. Not sure she would get any meaningful boost in performance though if she's just using chrome/office though. Hmmm. The alternative is to build a PC and put a 12600k in it, those are pretty reasonable right now.

If you don't need new, it's almost always a better deal to buy an off lease desktop from ebay with their 1 year refurb warranty. Business PCs are usually built with higher quality base components than consumer PCs too.

Just upgrade the RAM to 16GB in their current PC. The perfomance boost would be negligible if you have 12GB to 16GB RAM in their current PC and only use chrome/office work.

Pretty crappy deal honestly, should be closer to $400, this similarly specced one was $450 from Costco just a few months ago: https://www.costco.com/dell-inspi...23985.html
