Have one of these in our basement and love it. Just simple dial controls and it looks pretty stylish too as far as radiators like this are concerned. Zero issues in the few years I've owned it. It heats up surprisingly quick. Obviously one of these won't heat up a larger space any time quick but it's nice to be able to place near a bed when we have guests sleeping down there and not having to worry about it being a big fire hazard.

Just be aware, if you have an AC that can reverse (act like a heat pump), you'll save many more dollars that way. 100% of the energy that goes into electric heaters like this one get converted to heat but it's really inefficient.

Throw a box fan next to one of these and it will heat a pretty large area.

These things are super expensive to operate, compared to other space heaters. Be warned.
They won't burn your house down though

It has 3 different wattage settings. Many space heaters do not and are constant on. In other words this to me is much more efficient for staying on a long time to maintain temps.

"Oil heaters. They cost around half the amount to run than fan heaters do". Stop spreading lies on something you know nothing about

I have one of these by mainstays and its an absolute piece of crap. The stamped steel legs are a joke and bend with the slightest touch. Once or twice a winter I have to take the front cover off and unstick the relay/sensor on the bottom because it gets stuck in. Not sure if its heat related or what, but I can't use the heater at full power due to the 15 amp breaker in my office coupled with the desktop, laptop, 3d printers, etc. I picked mine up for $5 used, but even at that, its barely worth it. Spend the money, get a nicer one, and move on.

Mine might be an older model though.. looks similar, its a mainstays brand, but seems jankier built.
exaggerate much? dont tell me its hooked up to a multiplug extension cord.

1500 watts is 1500 watts
space heaters dry the shit out of your air which will result in skin issues.. get either one of these or a infrared heater for overall comfort...

nope, just hooked up to the wall. Not an exaggeration either, otherwise I wouldn't have posted it.
