I have the inverter. It works in a pinch to power a light or something with low power demand rather than lugging an extention cord. Even with the bigger 18v I want to say a flood like for the kids playset didn't last long.

Took it camping and it powered a fan and a few other things and it works fine. The built in light was a plus.

Just dont expect it to power something like a shop vac, I tried.

This is good for low power LED lights, charging cell phones during power outages. it's obviously not made to be used to power coffee makers and fans and haters for hours.

I have both the old and the new 18v inverters, the new usb-c version I have does not have the 110v outlet, but it instead has a 12v port (like a cigarette lighter). Not sure if there is different models, but that's what mine is.

Do they even call that an inverter if it is just feeding a 12V DC port and a USB port from your 18V DC battery? It isn't inverting anything and basically requires no complicated electronics. You can wire a car 12V USB adapter directly to a battery and it'll do just fine, if you just want to charge phones

Nice package, except you shouldn't expect I get much done with just one puny 2ah battery. That's a 36Wh capacity. More interesting for the folks who already have a bunch of Ryobi batteries lying around, and hopefully charged when they're needed.
