FYI this takes a CR2450 battery. There are other AAA versions if you'd prefer.
Luckily, nobody is forcing you to buy one.
People put them in the cabinet where they store their camera gear to make sure their gear won't get ruined by mold. They put them in their humidor to make sure their cigars won't dry out. They put them in their glasshouses. They put them in their terrarium to make sure their emotional support lizard won't catch a cold. Sometimes these are sold by the dozen, and people buy them by the dozen...
Despite the literature lacking info, it's been confirmed here many times that it's integrated with Google Home. I am using it myself.

Does the integration mean Alexa or Google home device will collect data from these end sensor via bt and push data back to govee app? Technically, it's possible. But, I guess the integration is govee sync with these end devices and app push to Alexa or Google server. Does anyone know what is the integration?

I linked 10 devices to Google and they don't show up on the home app, so unfortunately for me it will link when added but don't see how they're integrated.

I have one on my desk and one next to my bed. Arguably, I was happy without them for decades. Now that I have them, I like them. Especially when the air is too dry due to heating / air conditioning.

Thanks, this makes a bit of sense, just still wondering what you can do about it once you know? I dunno. I'm weird logical brain and need to see things through.
You can use a humidifier/dehumidifier to increase/decrease once you know. When houses have too much humidity it can affect ppl and cause them to cough. Really low humidity can also damage furniture or things made out of wood. Using these can save you from asking Alexa or looking at nest app on your phone to see what the humidity is but to each their own
