Mine just broke with only light use, not sure if it's the battery or the vacuum but it wouldn't start anymore. May be I just got unlucky, but other dyson I have (even the ancient V6) never failed on me.

I have one of these and I thought mine died too. I realized the male charger piece was pushed in and not making contact with the female part, so essentially it wasn't charging. See if that's the issue.
I have a love/hate relationship with these. I've had one since release. I use it for my kitchen/dining area and I love how small and nimble it is. The biggest problem is hair getting stuck in the wheels which makes steering hard. Dyson also never has replacement parts in stock which is highly annoying. I think this is a solid deal for <$200.
I'd rather spend a little more and get a V7. This has half the power of the v7 and a third of the suction power of the V10. Plus it will only work on floors. V7 or above (hell even the v6) combined with a fluffy head will give you more power, more run time, and more flexibility.
I would only buy this if you have no carpets at all

I'm in the same boat brother. The wheels are shit and are not designed to be removed for cleaning.
Can't recommend this product for $200, maybe for $50-75
Got one last week for my mom who has mostly hard floors, and she loves it. She already had a V8 she uses for the carpeted upstairs and rugs, but she much prefers the Omni now because it's easier to vacuum around the furniture and her weird octagonal kitchen. She used to complain the V8 was tiring for her weight-wise and this is better.
I don't know about Dyson quality. My Animal V11 suddenly stop charging and I only vacuum 3 times a year.
That might be why (if the battery was not plugged in and over depleted). Can happen easily for any modern rechargeable device. Problem is people don't like physical switches anymore to disconnect, so these devices try to go in a low power sleep mode, still consuming a small amount of current for circuits, until battery is dead. Similar to a car battery sitting for months.
