If you're a ARPG fan of any kind, you'll like this game. It's fresh, its more advanced than D4 skill trees , loot tables and classes, but much simpler than PoE. There are some server issues currently, but their offline mode is great, so if you usually play ARPG's solo, it should be a smooth experience.
I would hop on Twitch and watch a couple of streamers play the game if you're undecided. There are also lots of reviews based on the 1.0 release version that can help you decide if this is worth the purchase.

I bought this yesterday and played for a couple of hours last night. It's a lot of fun, and the builds/skill tree are more in-depth than Diablo IV. There is some lag/server problems, but it's a known issue and they are working on it.

Thanks for the input. I did buy it since I love arpg's and I do usually play solo. I've seen bits and pieces since it's inception and it's always intrigued me. I haven't gotten to play it yet and mostly because the helldiver's servers just opened up lol.

As a long time Diablo player, this game takes a giant dump on Diablo in every way. The nonsense in Diablo 4 - like gems taking up your inventory, going thru hours of yellow items and etc doesn't happen in this game. There's 100 stash tabs, an auction house, way more skills, good graphics, loot filter and much more better quality of life things.

If you like to pay big bucks for a AAA game that D4 is, love their horrendous UI, game issues such as drop rates, no filter, bad replayability, limited inventory space, developer having the nerve to ask for more and ridiculous money for cosmetics , etc, then LE isn't for you. LE does all of that 100 times better except it only asks for 30$.
