Man if it was a slab of carbon fiber it would be so light but i highly doubt it would be sold at anywhere near this price for epoxy polymer carbon fiber lol even if it was laid with just a few sheets it would not even be worth it
I would just buy a piece of wood from home depot, stain and mount it. Probably like 40 bucks for quality wood
I did what you suggested a few years ago but $40 for wood? LOLOL
Even a small can of good stain will run you $20-30. 4ft butcher blocks which are commonly used for this purpose are about $200 ± at home depot.
I used a 4ft block, sanded until my hands were raw, used a Jacho Bean stain, added a few clear coats (more sanding in between every single application), and i was finally done after way too many hours. I did make it a wall mount desk with rods but i never got around to dressing it up with LED lights or anything.
I bought a power strip that I did route out the back underside for it to sit flush inside the block but I never installed that either. I ended up throwing it all away when I moved in to my new house.

I am more alarmed at the latest reviews which say "verified purchase" BUT look at them in the last few days.... look how similar they are. Same punctuation, grammar style, using proper notations........ these reviews are clearly 'cooked'.. at least the ones from feb 2024. NOW, how many other items have cooked reviews? I never realized how blatant these trash sites are getting peddling their chinese garbage

300 lbs
I'd like to see a 300 lb person sit o that thing and test it.
There are a lot of good reviews but fair bet they are fake. One from "DarrenD" looks like a marketing intern wrote it.
