To explain for those not familiar with how these deals work... when you add the "free" item, the prices of the tool and battery are prorated. In this case, the polisher comes out to $170 and the battery comes out to $109. You can either return the battery after pickup/delivery or you can place the order with the battery at a separate store and immediately cancel the battery after the order is placed. When you do this, you pay the prorated promo price on the tool (so polisher for $170). You can do this for the battery as well if that's what you need, but in this case the battery isn't a great deal, so the tool is the deal to go for if you need it.

$169 after hack - is this any different than me m18 die grinder with a pad installed? Does this have a proprietary connection or how do the attachments fit on?

Battery seems ok at $100 since very hard to get Milwaukee 6.0's for cheap.

8ah and 12ah have horrible reviews and many instances of not charging to full capacity.

Idk, you can find 2 packs of 6.0 for the same or just a little more
