Yes. The listing states it is "calcium magnesium acetate". I am not a chemist, but calcium and magnesium salts are stable, and I think acetates should be stable unless you expose them to extreme temperature.

years ago, I would stack up on these in NYC because it would snow a lot.

nowadays, you don't even need to buy these. NYC hasn't had a good snowstorm for years now.

I think they're saying that rock salt is cheap, but this stuff is better than rock salt. And since it's almost as heap as rock salt, it's a good buy.
