Eero is overall good, but be aware there is no web UI, some features are paywalled, and it is integrated through an Amazon account.
Performance wise it works great

Haven't used the Nest router, but I've had the eero Pro 6 for two years with zero hiccups. It's been a massive improvement from my old Linksys Velop setup.

How does this compare to the Google Nest Wifi Pro 6E mesh router?

3 pack deal was a no brainer. I've been running a two pack for about 6 months with no issues. The only thing I don't like is how it chooses which band your devices connect to. You cannot choose a 5ghz over 2.4ghz connection, it chooses it for you. Maybe I'm missing something, anyone have any tips?

Well, this isn't Wi-Fi 6E. That would be the eero pro 6e. They will perform about the same if you have one point and non-6e devices. The Nest WiFi Pro can do true gigabit over WiFi if you have the right hardware though. I would expect it to perform better in a busy network with many points as it can use the 6ghz as backhaul.

None of this matters if you have less than gigabit internet.

That Google nest doesn't work and is riddled with issues. First gen google wifi was rock solid. Google nest and pro were terrible

The 6 pro has a much better wireless backhaul than the 6E. This is why people are still buying them over the 6E. If you have tons of IOT devices that are compatible with 6E and you use all that traffic at once, then maybe the 6E is better, but it's not in most cases.

Thank you. These debates over WiFi specs that are so far in excess of the average person's Internet line speed are absurd.

Got the 3 pack for 99 about 4 months back...much better than my nergear orbi 4200. I have over 50+ devices connected and everything except fps games runs well. Have the smart devices like camera etc on the guest SSD. Has performed flawlessly without any need to reboot. 3 SW updates over the last 4 months.

I also got the steal of a deal on the three pack. The only issue I have is you cannot set up a static route (which I could with my Asus mesh) which you need with Starlink if you replace their router with these to access the antenna status / settings with the phone app or web page. Other than that it has rock solid.

Am I crazy to not trust ad companies (Google/Amazon) with first party access to all of my internet traffic?
