I gave up watching Amazon prime when they started adding commercials but for the same content.

Past few years it seems we've been paying for more while getting less. Not just Amazon but everywhere.

After people lost access to their PURCHASED digital movies on Amazon, because Amazon didn't want to continue paying for their licenses, I've been standoff-ish towards digital purchases....

It's either over, you were seeing the price less your credits or a limit customer thing. $14.99 for me

Back in the early days of digital downloads before Spotify, etc., Amazon got rid of a bunch of music that I purchased. I wrote down all the order numbers and started a chat, and got refunded. Granted it was digital credits, but it's better than nothing.

Cool story bro moment: There's a church scene in the Untouchables with Kevin Costner and Sean Connery. That's Our Lady of Sorrows in Chicago. NBA hall of famer Isiah Thomas went there too. It's located in one of those neighborhoods that make Chicago look bad, but there you had the best supporting actor for that movie and a future best director in the hood.

I've come to the conclusion for ANY DIGITAL PURCHASES that it's super convenient to have. However, at any given moment, you can lose access to anything if a company decides to do so or even have the possibly of your account getting banned. I'm talking about general instances though. It made me rethink and stick with physical copies for anything if I can. I like to have a collection anyways.

Tldr; When you buy digital you're not buying the digital file, you're buying a license to stream it from that platform.
