Decent specs, but only 250 nits. I'd buy a few if they were just a bit brighter.
Oh my god I was actually considering getting this over the $200 Dell G2724D that only ships starting march 7th until you said that, this is disheartening
Ditto. Really just looking for a good 27"+ QHD+ monitor. Not picky on nits or refresh
Get this I got it very good for gaming and office - KOORUI 27 Inch WQHD Gaming Monitor, 2K 1440p Computer Monitor Up to 170Hz, 165Hz Monitors, 1ms,VA, Adaptive Sync, DCI-P3 90%, 1x DisplayPort & 2X HDMI, Tilt Adjustable, VESA Mountable, GN03
I've never owned a high end monitor and have always been in the budget range, but this is a pretty good monitor and deal. It's a warm color tone display and I noticed some red fringing around text black on a white background. I returned it right before the 30 day return window purely because my other Acer 27" is a cooler display and I couldn't get them close enough in color to my liking.
I have this one currently (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C8PZM...ct_details) which I bought the last time it was refurbished from eBay. So I returned the mentioned one and bought this again so they match better.
I got this around black Friday and I don't see the brightness being an issue unless you're outside for some reason... To me it looks great but I'm not an expert.
I will say you can forget about HDR. It looks horrible. I'm not sure why they included it when it looks as bad as it does
Looking for a 27" for home office use. Don't need anything fancy, is this good at this price point?
It'll get the job done but when I think of office settings, I think of well lit rooms or plenty of natural light since work is typically done during the day so the extra nits will help also prevent eye strain if you have to stare at a dimly lit screen all day.
With that said, there's been a recent craze about nits and HDR that it makes you think how did people ever get work done back then? Hyperbole aside it'll work just fine but you got better options such as the Dell, which you have to admit, the whole brand is aimed at office settings.
