Check compatibility before you buy this. Only fits particular grinders, most of which are corded. If you've got the brushed 20v that comes with most kits this won't work.

I'm guessing this doesn't work with the 60v grinder, since they take a quick charge guard.

These are the grinders that this is compatible with:
DWE4517, DWE4519, DWE4557, DWE4559N, DWE4559CN, D28499X, DWE4597, DWE4597N, DWE4599N, DCG440, DCG460
They are all corded 7" or 9" grinders except for the last two which are 60v.

I never would have expected the shroud to cost more than the grinders it goes on. Wild

Ah I guess you're correct, out of my area of experience. Is the most common use for a shroud like this going to be with cutting concrete and a vacuum?
