The weight limit is a huge problem for this bed. 200 pounds? A twin mattress weighs in the ballpark of 40-50 alone. If you put two on this thing that's roughly half the weight limit right there. Most grown men wouldn't be able to lay on this thing.
Maybe a good sleepover bed for kids but definitely not for a guest bedroom or anything like that.
The second mattress needs to be stored someplace else. Doesn't store under bed.
Not much of a back board for actual day bed use. We had an ikea metal day bed and it has a much taller headboard/back rail. I think it was $200. Super cozy with dual foam mattress pads.
But the biggest issue was having to lift the mattress on top of another. So you always had to move the pillows and blankets before you can close it up.
I'd suggest looking for one that slides under on its own or drops down and then under. This way you don't have to mess with the back/top mattress and all the blankets and pillows.

Agree with this. We have the IKEA daybed that we picked up on Nextdoor for like $80. The tall back board makes it usable (with 2 mattresses) where as the height of the one here makes me question how you could really sit on it like a couch with any comfort. New, the IKEA one is admittedly much more expensive, but it is very versatile and self contained.

We have our day bed in our kids playroom. It is great for storage and somewhere for us to sit for the majority of the time. Then, when their cousins visit, it is a guest room for kids. Definitely not a 2 adult solution.

We got our new for 150 while visiting family in Memphis last xmas. Nice bed and storage too
I just think if it's not going to hold a good weight for that cost, walmarts metal twin frames and one of their day beds, or even two twin frames would be a better "base" for weight, as far as storage and room for a king, you're going to have to worry about that gap with two twins making a king bed, if that isn't an issue, tho would drive me nuts, I'd get two frames from Walmart and throw one mattress on top of the other ans then fold the other frame that's bare, under that bed and bam maybe 200 bucks for it all

We have the IKEA Hemnes daybed as well, and we bought it (at less than the $450 it is now, with no mattresses) because our toddler and we both had slept on one visiting family in a NYC apartment. So comfortable, and we were two adults and a toddler weighing in at more than 350lbs using it for a couple of nights. The two mattresses used were thinner and firmer than a traditional twin, stacking nicely on a strong frame. Trundle pulls out easily even over time on floor or thin carpet/oriental rug...more work if you are battling traditional carpet. Plus, the three drawers are immensely helpful for lots of storage. This Costway one falls short IMO.

So many daybeds have low weight limits like this. It is kind of ridiculous seeing as they are supposed to be able to be used as a couch as well. I mean even two normal sized adults are going to weigh over that plus the mattress weight. Let alone a latex mattress.

Can't believe the set we have (including mattresses) is now over $600! Brand new, I'm not sure I could justify paying more than $400

Last week he mailed me a half dozen pans, online shows 30$ , he paid 5$ each.
He also called about some full size mattress, that was 200$ going for 50
