Unlike any bookshelf speaker, the S 803 Dolby Atmos ready speaker delivers incredible stereo sound with a patent-pending connection points atop the cabinet for seamless integration of the S 8 ATM topper to deliver the overhead effect of Dolby Atmos.
Seamless Dolby Atmos Integration
Elegant metal fasteners atop the cabinet provide a chic, modern industrial look, but also serve as a connection point for the S 8 ATM Dolby Atmos elevation speaker.
This patent-pending design allows for all of the wire connections on the back of the floorstander, avoiding unsightly and messy speaker wire going all the way up to the Atmos module - for cinematic, completely immersive Dolby Atmos sound while preserving the beautiful aesthetic of the Jamo Studio 8 Series.
Updated and Modern
The Jamo Studio 8 series has been completely reimagined to live seamlessly in modern, premium environments. Contemporary material and finish choices accentuate the clean, minimalist lines of this European design, while the compact cabinet designs are an ideal solution for urban living environments around the world.

Got these when I purchased the Jamo set. Only speakers I replaced were these junk bookshelf speakers. IMO, not worth $78 unless you're desperate for cheap speakers. $329 retail price is absolute BS.

and my first upgrade was the Jamo Studio8 5.1 set with these as the main L/R speakers and I was beyond impressed with them. They were the perfect upgrade from the tv and HTIB speakers to hold me over until I found something better, and I would recommend them to anyone as a decent start into the Home Theater journey. You won't find many bookshelf speakers for this price (if any) that sound as good as these do.

How would these be at rear satellites?
I have been using these as my rear satellites for about 6 months, coming from Bose cube two way speakers. They sound great, and have a lot of depth to them that I wasn't getting from Bose. Fit great in a pair of wall mounts I bought off Amazon too:
Pipishell Speaker Wall Mounts, Dual Side Clamping Bookshelf Speaker Mounting Bracket, Speaker Mounts for Surround Sound, Bookshelf Speakers up to 50 lbs, 1 Pair https://a.co/d/3TmgI8W
So since these are not powered, I assume these would not work as a set of PC speakers without needing other equipment? Sorry, audio noob here.
I recently got the Mackie CR3-X deal from Musician's Friend for $50, and was a bit underwhelmed, so I'm on the hunt for something better that's still plug and play into a PC.

Ohhh you know what? I actually have the S801 speakers, not 803. I have in ceiling speakers installed for Atmos so no need for the other channel on these 803s in my use case scenario.

May be the lowest price yet (or in a while). Beats the current FP Costco deal on the similar Klipsch (while adding Atmos support).
Note this atmos support is extra posts on the back to connect to your amp, and proprietary speakers posts on top of these to connect to their atmos speakers.
I wouldn't value atmos in this as all.
I have these in my office and they are pretty solid if you add a sub

Right, you would need an amp or receiver to power these. Any of the current mini amps from Fosi and such would be a good little combo.
new to home audio here - i have an Energy Take Classic 5.1 satellite speakers with a Denon AVR-X1800H receiver so would these bookshelf speakers be a good upgrade for the two front speakers? or would it not be much of a difference?
