I was waiting for the P14s to jump down in price again. Thanks OP!

But what's with the picture? It's showing a Legion laptop I believe.

Not that it matters a ton, but just came to say that I bought the 16" version of this back in November when it was on sale, and I have been really satisfied to date. (I need a 10 key and the extra screen real estate.)

It is an excellent office productivity machine. If I pair it with my tablet for a second monitor and connect a Bluetooth mouse, I am just as productive as if I were at my office desktop.

With a nice CPU, a decent iGPU, wonderful OLED screen, tons of RAM, and the famous keyboard, I don't think I will have any reason to upgrade for a few years. I guess the only things that could be improved are weight and battery life, but I don't really have any complaints about them.

I am looking for a deal on P16 with T2000 cards. Looks like prices have gone up in the last 3 months

Pay attention on eBay for proper slick deals. I picked up 2x P14s g4 amd from a cert refurb with 2 years of SquareTrade for $779. 32GB/1TB units. Standard display.

I bought one with similar or same specs a few months back and although I really appreciate the extra ram when working with large files it seems to crash while in sleep mode pretty frequently and compared to my old 10th Gen LG gram. It seems to be a common problem and Ive tried a few fixes and although it's better, it still has this problem. So although it's still worth it to me at this price, I'm guessing this might be a deal breaker for some other potential owners.

There was a brand new Gen 4 P14S Ryzen 7 32GB with the 400 nits screen a few months ago posted several times on here sold on the Lenovo site for $900. A used Gen 4 Ryzen 300 nit 45% display for $779 is not a "proper slick deal", that's about what it should go for.

Link #2 is not a p16s.
Am I misreading the link? I see "p14s" in both URLs and when I click them, they are both P14s.

1. Lenovo ThinkPad P14s: 14" 2.8K OLED, Ryzen 7 PRO 7840U, 64GB LPDDR5, 1TB SSD
2. Lenovo ThinkPad P14s: 14" 2.8K OLED, Ryzen 7 PRO 7840U, 64GB LPDDR5, 1TB SSD

So, while I agree that Link #2 is not a "p16s", neither is Link #1...?

How is this machine for photo editing? Is the screen calibrated already for color accuracy? Is this better than the fully decked out Dell XPS 17" posted recently?

Had a similar issue with a lenovo and figured it was a driver issue. I called lenovo support to see if they had any cases to help me pinpoint where to look and the fellow told me the laptop was built with Win 11, downgraded to win 10 for some reason when shipped. I upgraded to win11 so figured that was the issue.

After downloading the Win11 recovery and wiping the machine, have not had the issue with crashes every morning after waking it up. Worth the few hours imo.
