It's more like many of us have massive backlogs of great games we haven't played because we don't have time. $40 for 'a lot of game' doesn't mean much to me these days when I have terabytes of games that I can still play while waiting for this to drop like pretty much every new release. I'm not paying $70 for games.

That's what they don't tell you about adulting. Get that fancy job with that nice salary so you can afford everything you want but then you have no time to enjoy any of it outside of 15-30 min spurts lol.

That's a lot of game for a nice price. If you have any desire to play this type of game I highly recommend it. Some will want to wait for a lower price but $40 for what you're getting here is amazing. You may have heard some negative stuff about locking New Game Plus behind a paywall, but that's definitely not a reason to not buy this. There's so much game here anybody who makes it to New Game Plus plays games way too much. I am about 70 hours into this game and still only halfway through. I took my time played a ton of mini games and there are fully fleshed out games within this game. I spent about 20 hours on dondoko island alone 👀 between side Stories mini games drink links massive amounts of side quests I've never felt bored at any point and simply cannot put this game down.

Haha yes and although I accept this reality … it doesn't stop me from buying games like I have all the time in the world. But that's what makes quick games like Hades so great.
