Science diet lists pea fiber as the 3rd Ingreident.
Grain free foods have traditionally been very high in pea protein and they think that's part of the reason for enlargened heart conditions. The Good thing about science diet is they are very communicative and as soon as those studies came out they reevaluated their food and cut back on the peas in their food.
As u always say it's good to do your research but you need to talk to your vet about food, supplements and allergies.
