I have had this one since it came out and I am happy with it. The battery lasts a good 6-7 days in airplane mode (i don't keep it connected all the time, sinc with phone once every 2-3 days). The Galaxy 6 does not have as big a battery as the 5 pro so I won't be changing it until Samsung comes up with something new that keeps power for at least 6-7 days.

PS You get the steps count, HR and Sleep track under airplain so you dont have to keep Bluetooth running all day long if not something you need.

I got this generation and I also have the new 6 Classic (with bezel). I actually like the 5 Pro better because it has significantly better battery life. It all depends on what you find important.

Yeah, the 6 Classic has a slightly bigger screen, but the 5 Pro is no slouch.

I got this generation and I also have the new 6 Classic (with bezel). I actually like the 5 Pro better because it has significantly better battery life. It all depends on what you find important.

Yeah, the 6 Classic has a slightly bigger screen, but the 5 Pro is no slouch.

traded my S3 for S5 Pro and absolutely love it. Battery is a beast on this.. mine lasts about 3-4 days with optimizations.

On the contrary the latest S6 is not that good..I will skip the 6 generation and will get a 7 if they are still going to continue rotating dial.

I loved my Gear S3 Frontier. Sadly, it's no longer compatible with the S24 phone line. I unwillingly had to ditch it

I had galaxy watch 3 classic for 2 years. Last year I traded in that for 5 Pro. I have been loving it since then. Liked rotating bezels since the first classic came out, but eventually battery & GPS became more critical for me. The battery on this is the best & beastly by Samsung in 5 Pro. With the good usage it easily lasts me about 3 days. And dont forget the construction is better of 5 pro than their other models.

That's the main reason I've been thinking of upgrading from my watch 3 classic, can't use the sleep tracking since I gotta remember to charge it in the evening before bed... or in the morning before work...

I ditched Apple Watch Galaxy Watch and Garmin Fenix 5 for a amazeFit T Rex 2, battery life on the Trex is insane easily gets a month if not using to track workouts and even then lasts a solid 15-20 days!

It depends on you carrier. I had this watch on T Mobile for $5 a month but cancelled when I switched to Google Fi since the plan came with service for a watch.

I have the GPS non-cellular version and love it. Very handy when wanting to get someplace you don't know, without getting your phone out.

It's a different number than your phone, at least with AT&T when I looked years ago.

The cellular version of this watch is for people who don't want to carry a phone with them for whatever reason.

If you always have your phone, you can route your calls to your watch so a cellular plan is redundant.

Agree with every positive comment on the battery life on this watch. Looks GREAT and can go DAYS without charging. it's also made of titanium . Mine has taken a few bumps. I couldn't justify switching to the watch 6, not until they make another Pro version.
