Amazon's return policy/customer service has definitely taken an L this past year. Not sure if that claim really holds true anymore.

Amen! I returned an AOC mini led, they received it back in Jan, I've been lied to by 7+ reps telling me they would give me my refund, then leaving the chat, to have to explain over and over. The shipping tracking/history even disappeared, and one rep acknowledged, yeah we received it, yeah the refund was "issued" oh "check your bank" to a reply of you never cancelled the payment plan, and I was just charged again!!! Still waiting feb 25th for my money back. Amazon is terrible now for anything expensive

The biggest issue with Amzn lately is getting used items when you order them as new OR fakes. Depending what you buy. It's become a huge huge issue.

Dang. I return so much to Amazon I was worried they were gonna cancel my prime at one point. Just dropped 3 things off on Saturday and refunds hit as soon as the UPS store scanned them in. Haven't had any issues yet.

Same experience returning a 2000 dollar VR pimax VR headset. Apparently they had "lost it" within the warehouse. Tracking for me showed received by the warehouse, refund by a date about a week away. But the date would cone and it would just postpone. It had to be 30 days past my return to esclate it, talk to supervisors, then issue an incident, then they asked for proof of returning 😅, i had to upload a proof, i just uploaded screenshot of tracking. Anyways took about 2 months to get a refund, but it definitely left a bug ding on my amazon account i think. Yeh amazon CS is not the same anymore

same here, returned more than 10 items at my local whole foods store in last shopping season (bought maybe 50+ items) and always receive refund before stepping out of the door, Idk why people always complain about amazon but imo overall they are better than other online retailers by a big margin.

It has to do with the value of what you bought. I believe if it's under 300 dollars per item or some number like that, They can do automatic return. Also be careful with the number of returns. Just google amazon account bans. I once got the notorious email after I had done some returns saying my returns had reached. Alevel that shows its abusing service. I didn't have that many returns, but I had bought an expensive soundbar which had a lot of crackling noise so i returned it, was 1200. Week after that refund got that email. Anyways with expensive items it's tricky

Weird, Amazon for me has always been rock solid, idk why but I returned a pellet rifle twice because it didn't shoot straight and got a refund fairly quickly. (Ngl I think it was user error but yk it is what it is). I have refunded a headphone amp, headphones, speakers, and books. I have no idea why that would be but best wishes to ya

Man same, I am awaiting a return for a laptop I never even received!!! I ordered it, no one was here to sign. I canceled the order after I didn't get it and told them to send it back. They did. Never sent me my money and it was past the 30 days when they said they received the laptop. And now they won't refund the money at all...
