This is not the burts bees we grew up with. These now contain seed oils at the very least, and god knows what else since burts bees was bought out.

Exactly this. Better to buy the organic stuff from the smaller brands on Amazon, as Clorox has owned Berts Bees for some time now with the accompanying degradation in quality.
