Only two local donut shops - The new one just opened and is 1.89 per for basic and they only go up. 2.19 for like a frosted one and up from there with many at 2.99. The other local place is $3 per or 29.99 a dozen.
That leaves multiple Dunkin locations at $13.99 a dozen. Guess I need to check Kroger and such to compare too, if they actually have any they are usually the best. Sigh. I like doughnuts but dang they are expensive.

Well, seems like things quickly changed around 2004-2005 or with the great recession of 2008. One KK closed and the remaining location isn't THAT busy anymore. We're a low cost state, and a dozen original glazed is $14.99 in the website.
Not saying Walmart glazed donuts are the same quality, but a dozen Walmart glazed is still $6.97.
Anyone know what the markup is for glazed donuts for just the ingredients (ignoring overhead and labor cost)
