Just a note that in-store they said it only applies to furniture, and it doesn't appear to work if that amount isn't met with furniture. Store associates have tried to get approval to override for some in checkout.

They recently took away the 5% off everything perk for being an IKEA member...very greedy.

I think their sales have gone down, Ive noticed a lot of markdowns recently to more acceptable prices (still overpriced, some are double the prices of 2021). I was able to get a gift card for something i bought that was lowered in price.

Yes, bought this couch [ikea.com] for around $700 regular retail price pre-pandemic. Unbelievable that they are calling $1250 as the new lowered price. Taking advantage of inflation talk track to stiff consumers and increase their profits is really infuriating. I'm done with ikea
