I've pulled the trigger today and purchased the 85" TV. Got the EPP discount, the advertised discount, and an additional 10% discount after talking to the sales rep. They are also adding custom bezels for free right now, and I got the 2 year protection plan for free as well.

Ended up pulling the trigger on the 55" since where we're installing it that's about as large as we need before it looks ridiculous.

Got 10% off and free install from chatting with the agent. Discount definitely not as good as the 65" but we were only looking for either the 50" or 55" so this works for us.

I have always liked the idea of the Frame TV especially if you use it for the intended purpose of displaying art or pics at certain times. However, the look of the "painting or portrait" diminishes when you get to a certain size. I think up to 65" is reasonable. At 75" or 85", it becomes a little weird or unnatural. Not many people would hang an 85" painting in their house.

I tried asking for a bezel and they wouldn't go for it. Kind of annoying but we may go for some third party frame

I have heard the Samsung bezels are not great, so also looking for third-party options. Some of the second-party ones from Deco Frames seem very nice, but are absurdly expensive. Showed them to a hobbiest carpenter friend and he couldn't believe they were charging so much. Said it was $30-$40 of materials on a frame they are charging $750 for. He might make us one or we will follow DIY videos on our own.

$1,599 plus tax. My friend ordered one also, and he got the 10% extra discount ($180) rather than the flat $200 the chat offered me, so he paid $1,619. Still got free bezel, shipping, and mounting. To me, the 75" and 55" are the best deals.

Looks like free bezel is automatic on 65" or larger. For smaller, YMMV with chat.
