Edit: Actually the other post with 1 bottle is FREE.
Please don't use products containing BAK in your eyes whenever there are other options. It is a known cause of dry eye syndrome. People on long term eye drops for glaucoma inevitably have this very issue from using BAK daily. If you use drops with BAK limit yourself to 4 drops per day (some doctors say 6 or even 8) but you could develop problems that will NEVER go away.
That eye wash has WAY more than 4 drops in that cup.
ONLY use preservative FREE eye drops in your eyes. Then you can use as MANY in a day as you want. If you use drops with BAK limit yourself to 4 drops per day (some doctors say 6 or even 8) but you could develop problems that will NEVER go away. Cleaners are okay to use as a rinse but they often have it as well so better to just stick to preservative free.
Although Benzalkonium chloride (BAK) is the most commonly used eye drop preservative, it has long been associated with toxic effects such as "dry eye" and trabecular meshwork degeneration (related to glaucoma, means your pressure elevates over time because fluid isn't draining out properly. To this day, the underlying biochemical mechanism of ocular toxicity by BAK is unclear.
