Great pump if you have an old skinny tired road bike that actually needs the higher pressures. For wider road bike tires and especially mountain bike tires at lower pressures, the resolution on the gauge isn't ideal for fine tuning your ride.

I've been using this since 2015. I paid $19.99 on an Amazon lightning deal way back then. The pump is still going strong and works well. I'd definitely get it again if I needed it. I've had many a pump fail prior to this one so it is worth the money.

Lol, me too. Still going strong, super reliable and use every weekend. Also beats most of my other pumps.

I have this Joe Blow Sport pump. I believe my unit is the II vs. the III. This pressure gauge appears to be larger or at least slightly easier to read. But the pump itself continues to provide excellent service multiple times per week. I believe it is over 5 years in operation and hasn't had any issues.

I still use a Topeak digital pressure gauge to fine tune my pressures, but this puts you where you need to be to get that done easily.

what's the advantage of this vs a battery-powered pump? I have a tiny hand pump and a ryobi battery pump which was bought at similar cost, iirc.

No noise, no battery to keep charged, more accurate gauge.

It doesn't take much effort to pump up most bicycle tires, so what is the advantage of a battery-powered pump?

I often use my bike pumps to top-up my car tires too.

I saw this deal and just came to say that I listened to SD a decade or so ago about buying THIS pump (all metal) and was advised it would last a lifetime. Ten years later, just a few rust spots but it works flawlessly. This is the last air pump you will buy for bikes, balls... once I even use it on my car with relative success. I'm sure I paid half the price it is now but it is built to last!

Wow, great floor pump. I bought my Joe Blow over 15 years ago for $29.99, once upon a time when I was a biking stud.... Now I use it to pump my kids' bike tires, absolutely nothing has broken... Well this is Slickdeals, so I'm going to buy now and think later.

I have this pump and it is the bane of my cycling existence. While it does move a lot of air per "pump," if you pump more than two tires in a row or try to inflate tubeless tires, it will overheat (yes, this bike pump will overheat) and get stuck. You'll have to take it apart, unstick the little valves parts inside, lube (yes, this pump requires service) and reassemble. It is so annoying. I've never had a pump that required so much attention before. Seriously. I hate it.
