Do this every year. Best promo of all!
This has already been pointed out by numerous others on this thread. I'm sure that some boneheaded person will think it is a good idea to reach out to MLB.TV to verify it. DO NOT CONTACT MLB.TV. Assuming this is an error, contacting them will guarantee that it gets fixed and ruin it for everyone here who got a 2023 subscription.
It's not available until 3/26. You should be able to see the announcment in the T-Life app by scrolling down to and tapping on "What's new" on the Home tab.

It's a bit silly that this thread is front page news a month ahead of the offer's availability.

so the mod stated, the seller can only asks for $5

but the buyer can offers more

so, why would any buyer offer more?

disadvantage: seller?
Because a seller doesn't have to accept their $5 offer. Plus, there seems to be quite a few people that want this so the buyers want to make sure they get one by offering more

Yeah, they should both get a code but if they're on the same account, they may need to separate it as two logins to associate one with each of the lines. That was a change that happened when they switched to the T-Life app recently. As far as getting the code, you usually click the redeem button and it'll pop up with a weblink that includes the code which can then be copied and forwarded. (Note that it can be a bit of a pain for iPhone users, as it tries to go directly to the MLB app. It may be easier to retrieve the link from an android device or set a third-party browser like Brave as the default (assuming it's similar to last year). This is what the link / code looked like last year …
Code:https://www.mlb.com/commerce/t-mobile/redeem?redemptionCode=2023TMO{followed by 18characters} As for trading, the usual tradition is for the buyer to send AGC first, but nothing is set in stone and it's usually discussed through PM. But if one user has a significantly higher rep score than the other person trading, the much lower score would often send first (rep is just basically an indication that the user is active and helpful on SD and not likely to ruin their cred on the site by scamming people). So if you have no rep and are looking to make a trade with a high-rep user, they may want you to send first or arrange some kind of split payment before/after getting the code. People tend to be cautious in dealing with accounts that have less than a couple hundred rep points or so. Although having a long-term active account also probably carries some weight even without rep, as opposed to a brand new account that's only ever posted trying to sell a code.
Okay so each person on their own phone would redeem their own code. The link/code would look like that. That is a bit confusing. So if someone wanted to copy and paste it to someone via text message on phone or sending it via private message here, they have to either copy and paste it on phone via text message or type it manually on the computer if trading with someone on this forum? I had thought the code was going to be something like mlbaskljfsdfasfisauf90u2u39r03820rifjadlksmnkl

Okay so the account with less rep usually send first which makes sense. But you say mainly it's the person who has amazon gift card send first usually. But how exactly do the person who receives the mlb code activate it when it looks like the way it did? I mean they aren't clicking on the mlb link... it's the tmobile user right when they claim it? Then they could screenshot or manually type the code to the other slickdeal user via private message? Also you have to manually create an mlb account first before all this right? When you create a new mlb account, do you need to put your real name and email and details etc before you enter the mlb code into it? I recall I have an old mlb account I created years ago but that was because mlb.com would occasionally have those free mlb game of the week so I would use that account to check the free game... but no clue if I used my real name or not. So with this... you should use your real name? What about email... could it be an email you create solely for this or you use a personal email for this? I am talking about using mlb code for yourself... not the other mlb code you are trading with someone.

This is where it varies depending on if they want to redeem it themselves on their own account or share the link. It's pretty straightforward and they can just click through the links on their own phone if they want to actually redeem it. (It might be easier to just give them your MLB login with a temp password and have them activate your subscription that way). But if wanting to share the code, that's where they need to actually extract the link. Personally, I'd recommend that beginners just get the code through an android device if doing that (I just log into T-life on an old Wi-Fi Android tablet to avoid any of the iPhone quirks.) Then just copy/paste the weblink into an email or text (or take a screenshot of it). If they're copying the link to send to you, they shouldn't ever do anything with actually logging in at MLB or anything else on their end. You just need them to copy the link for you. From what I recall, you have to actually use the link with the embedded code and there isn't a box where you can copy just the bare code at the MLB website. But once the link is extracted, it can be redeemed by the recipient from just a regular computer or tablet on any old Wi-Fi connection. Just log into your MLB account on a browser and then copy / paste the link in the same browser to redeem the code. Also, don't forget that the users will most likely need to have a separate login set up for each phone line … you can't get multiple codes from a single TMo login any more unless they're separated out with a login for each line like that.

It's best if you have your MLB account already set up before trying to redeem the code (just to avoid any possible glitches along the way). If you think you have an old account, just try logging in now and if you can get logged in, then you should be able to apply the deal once you have a code / link. You don't need to use real name or anything like that … it can just be generic "John Doe" or "MLB Account". And you can use a secondary email or whatever also … doesn't need to be your main account as long as you remember the login info to get back in.
