Maybe someone moved away from their hometown team, maybe someone picked up baseball as a fan in college, maybe they live somewhere where there is no local team and so they just became a fan of a team that was on national TV often.
This is a great deal for those folks.
You can also use the subscription to get MLB radio on Alexa, which does not have blackouts. So if you're old school and want to listen to your team while you multitask, but not so old school that you have an AM radio in the house, this is also a good option.
