This is the type of game nobody cares for, buys or wants until it's out of print and suddenly selling for upwards of $200 a copy.

I have a ps4 Godzilla game and a transformers game for ps3 that went up in value really quick because nobody bought it when it was made.

You sure about this? I know it's a Star Trek game but I suppose it depends on the system it's for. I guess if people in the future try to get a full complete library but that's a lot of games for both PS4 and Switch except for PS5 and Xbox One X since physical games for those will be a small library.

You're not wrong in the sense that poorly selling games sometimes become valuable, but I think the content and genre is REALLY important.

Godzilla and Transformers, and RPG/Horror games are much more likely to become valuable vs an action game adaption of a Nickelodeon Star Trek kids' TV series. I'm not saying it NEVER happens...but typically these brands and genres don't get there.
